SUMMARY:Trenton Library Poetry Cafe Launch: Reception & Open Mic
DESCRIPTION:Opening Mic at the Trenton Free Public Library Poetry Cafe\n\nFor the last six months\, the English Department and Labyrinth Books have been working with the Trenton Free Public Library to build a poetry collection for the library’s new Poetry Cafe. The Cafe\, a reading room in the library’s building on Academy Street\, will not only hold a variety of old and new poetry books\, but it will host readings\, open mic nights\, and workshops in months to come. The acquisitions have been supported by the department’s Bain-Swiggett Fund.\n\nOn Thursday\, September 21st\, from 5 to 7 PM\, the library is organizing a reception and open mic to launch the Cafe. More details to follow\, but please mark your calendars. All are welcome to come read\, listen\, and celebrate.
