On March 13 and 14, Princeton’s biennial Poetry Festival will feature a line-up of internationally acclaimed poets who will read from their work and participate in panel discussions. This year’s Festival poets include:

 

 

While featured poets come from around the world and write in numerous languages, the readings, discussions and panels will be in English.

The New Jersey State Finals of the national Poetry Out Loud program will kick-off the Festival in Richardson Auditorium on the University campus at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, followed by a gala opening reading at 2:00 p.m. The second day of the festival will begin with a reading at 2:00 p.m. also in Richardson Auditorium. Tickets for the Festival are $15 for each day, $25 for a two-day Festival pass, and free for students. Tickets are available through University Ticketing by calling 609.258.9220 or at the Frist Campus Center Ticket Office. The New Jersey State Finals of Poetry Out Loud is free, however advance tickets are required and are also available for reservation through University Ticketing.
