angela abiodun and Mahogany L. Browne are two poets whose linguistic work expands the formation of new vocabularies—vocabularies that are as sensorially rich as they are rooted in political stakes. Their work demands that we pay attention, forging a commitment to a kind of justice that’s inseparable from the lived experience of the Black body.
