COM LIT Works In Progress Colloquium – Lara Harb “Mythos and Mimesis in Aristotelian Arabic Poetics”

The Department of Comparative Literature is pleased to announce the fall session of our Works in Progress Colloquium, where professors, post-doctoral researchers and advanced graduate students are invited to discuss ongoing research. On Friday, November 20th at 3:30 PM, Professor Lara Harb, an assistant professor in the Department of Near Eastern Studies, will present a paper entitled “Mythos and Mimesis in Aristotelian Arabic Poetics.” Her presentation will be followed by a response from Professor of Classics Barbara Graziosi. The presentation and discussion will take place on Zoom. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in a discussion after the presentation.
