We’re thrilled to announce that Poets House will reopen the doors of our home for poetry on Saturday, January 27 with a community-wide Reopening Celebration from 3-6 pm, featuring performances by the Cornelius Eady Trio, and readings by Monica Youn, and others TBA. This event is free and open to the public with generous support from the Battery Park City Authority.

Our Reopening Celebration continues as we reinitiate regular open hours on the library on Tuesday, January 30, 11:00am – 7:00pm. And as we celebrate the Poets House Showcase with a special exhibit of books from 2020 and 2021, the Books of the Pandemic (Showcase reading dates TBA—stay tuned!)

Over the past three years, Poets House has experienced a remarkable period of change and growth. We could not have weathered these transitions—nor continued to provide vibrant online programming for poets and poetry lovers across the country—without your goodwill and encouragement.
